| Anna Paquin, a New Zealand-Canadian actress and film theater performer, is well known for her roles in films such as The PianoFly Away Homeand X-Men. She entered the field at the age of eleven when she appeared in The Piano for which she was awarded the Oscar Award for Best Actress as a support role. Her fate had other plans. After her successful debut in the industry, she was contacted by a variety of companies, but she declined their offers to pursue her studies.
