Sometimes, a glamorous career conceals some of the darkest tales. Lolo Jones, who won both USA championships as well as the World Championships in hurdle events was able to achieve her position with a lot struggle as well as a lot of perseverance. Jones was the only child of a five-child family, and grew up in a very poor environment. Her mother was always shifting and even was a resident within the basement. Jones needed to go to an entirely new high school every year because of her nomadic background. Jones left her mom to Theodore Roosevelt in order for her to focus on her passion for track. She lived at four different houses during her years of high school so that she could study all in the same place. Jones received the Gatorade Iowa Track and Field Award for the Best Athlete during her time at school. She also was an active member of the school orchestra as cellist. Jones was a college student when she went to college, was regarded as a top hurdler. The year 2002 was the time she became the winner of the 100-meter hurdles in the NCAA Track & Field Championship. She was also one of the runners-up team for the relay 100-meter event. Jones won both the hurdles in the indoor as well as outdoor hurdles event at the NCAA Championship in 2003. Jones, after completing her education in 2005 began to put in the effort for track. She won two events, the Torino Memorial and the Heusden Track events that same year.

Brandt immigrated from Cape Town South Africa to Auckland New Zealand at the at the end of her teenage years. The talent of Brandt was recognized in Auckland by the local cast director Brandt. She was cast in the part of Naevia as part of the Starz series Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. As a result of her work with Steven S. D Knight's and Sam R. Raimi's producers, she became an international movie star. She was on the show's hit Netflix show Lucifer that had a six year run. She played the beloved comic book character from DC/Vertigo Mazikeen. Forbes identified Lucifer in 2021 as a show with the most amount of viewers who binge watched. Brandt next appears opposite Andrew Lincoln in the limited Walking Dead 6 episode spin-off airing in 2024. She is also starring opposite Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan and Chris Meloni in the adult animated show Captain Fall which airs July 2023 on Netflix. Lesley Ann Brandt born in Cape Town South Africa on December 2nd 1981. She is one talented New Zealander performer. Lesley Brandt and her family moved to Auckland, New Zealand in 1999. After a few years of being employed in the retail industry her promotion was to the position of an IT consultant. Lesley's career began with a couple of model projects. Her appearances then included numerous commercials. She earned her degree with a specialization in acting in 2008. Then in 2009, she started studying in Meisner methods of study. The first time she was a prominent actor, her role was on the TV drama arrangement Diplomatic Immunity in New Zealand. Lesley Brandt has shown up in the New Zealand TV drama series Shortland Street in a visiting supporting appearance. In the following season, she was in the Sci-fi action thriller This Is Not My Life that is based upon anecdotal Waimoana. Lesley Brandt was cast in the Television series Spartacus: Blood and Sand as Naevia who was a teen hostage. She was later depicted on the Spartacus: Gods of the Arena miniseries.
